Paying for college can be one of the most challenging parts of earning your education, but it doesn’t have to be. At Rowan-Cabarrus, we will help you navigate the process of paying for college so that you can focus on forging your educational path.
Financial Aid
The financial aid office at Rowan-Cabarrus exists to serve students by helping to reduce the financial barriers to educational goals. We accomplish this through:
- Identifying and coordinating available financial resources;
- Collecting, organizing, and processing financial data;
- Educating students about our financial aid process; and
- Providing additional online resources regarding financial aid and related subjects.
Scholarships
Scholarships are provided through Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Foundation and the generosity many individuals, organizations, and businesses within our region. The scholarship program consists of two kinds of awards: merit-based scholarships and need-based scholarships. The College strongly encourages students to apply for scholarships – many find that they are pleasantly surprised with what is available to them.
